"I was amazed to learn that the leading cause of death in women is heart disease. With a family history of heart disease, I have seen what accomplishments have been made to save lives through research. The Go Red for Women movement is a way that I can help to inform other women in the Lancaster County area of the ways in which they can take charge of their health to prevent heart disease. I look forward to an exciting year in which we can inform and educate through meetings and events that will be fun and motivational."
